Forced Rhubarb Grows So Fast

The silence of jetties where

queens disembark

The silence that quarks make

when they are observed

The silence of blood and the

And of stars in the gutter , the

 silence of tears

The silence of mending - the  

              silence of birds

the silence of shadows

                The silence of bark

The silence of darkness ,

                the silence of bells

The silence of light and the  

              silence of rust

The silence of angels
